REV Gear Unveiled at Azalea Festival Fashion Show

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as the second annual Azalea Spring Fashion Show was about to begin.

The event, proudly powered by REV, promised more than just an afternoon of fashion and glamour. It aimed to blend together the worlds of fashion, passion, and community.

“We are thrilled to have REV Federal Credit Union join the #festivalfamily as a sponsor partner for our second annual Spring Fashion Show,” said Alison Baringer, Executive Director of the North Carolina Azalea Festival. “REV’s financial support and engagement in the planning of this new signature event of the Festival directly displays their dedication to impact in action, creating a meaningful impact to the over 250,000 people who attend Festival events while providing over $50 million dollars annually to our region’s economy.”

Among the models featured in the show, three faces stood out as familiar – REV Wilmington Branch Manager Sheree Darien, Leland Member Advisor Simeon Pauley, and NC Community Engagement Coordinator Dori Bishara, who took to the runway in their REV Gear inspired outfits, proud to represent their organization and community.

“Behind every piece crafted for REV Gear lies countless hours of thoughtful deliberation and design,” explained Shelley Puckett, Director of Brand Marketing at REV. “We want people to not only wear REV Gear and look good, but also to feel good, knowing that they are making a positive impact in their community. It is really exciting to see these pieces on the runway, witnessing REV in action and making a difference in this new and fun way.”

With the support of a few local Wilmington boutiques, each of the four models was dressed in carefully selected looks designed specifically for the occasion. However, at the heart of each look was a piece from REV Gear, REV’s lifestyle brand. These ensembles were not just fashion statements, but also symbols of REV’s strong connection to the community. With every purchase made through REV’s online store, $2 from each item would be donated to the #UpTheGood Foundation, a philanthropic initiative that aligns with REV’s mission of uplifting the community.

REV had infused a fashion show with a celebration of community, while simultaneously supporting a local nonprofit and channeling the energy of giving back. Each purchase from REV Gear transformed customers into champions of change. Through their support and contributions, the #UpTheGood Foundation will be able to support numerous nonprofits, breathing life into countless local projects and initiatives that create resilient communities.
