Community Support Loan

REV stands by our members through every season. If you’re a federal employee or contractor facing a missed paycheck because of the government shutdown, our Community Support Loan provides short-term relief with no interest and flexible terms.

Loan Features

    • Get up to one month’s net pay. Your exact amount is based on recent government direct-deposit history.
  • 90-Day Payment Pause
    • Focus on catching up now; your first payment won’t be due for three months.

Eligibility

You qualify if you:

  • Are a federal employee or contractor whose pay has been disrupted by the shutdown.
  • Have an active direct-deposit enrollment with REV.

The Community Support Loan offers a 0% interest rate with a 90-day balloon payment. Available to eligible* government employees who receive a recurring direct deposit of their government payroll into a REV account. Maximum loan amount is $6,000 or one month’s net pay (up to the amount of the qualifying direct deposit), whichever is less. The entire loan balance is due 90 days from the funding date. REV will obtain a credit report for each applicant. All approved and funded loans will be reported to the credit bureaus. Approval is subject to creditworthiness. Ineligible deposit types: VA benefits, DFAS retirement payments, and any form of Social Security benefits are not eligible for this program.

Program effective October 10, 2025. Offer may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. Qualifications and guidelines are subject to change.

*Eligible applicants include government employees paid by DFAS, OPM, or other federal agencies, as well as federal contractors who experience a loss or delay of pay due to the federal government shutdown.
