REV is pleased to announce its  sponsorship of Charleston Wine + Food’s Community Impact Awards.

The event, supporting Charleston Wine + Food’s outreach initiatives, served as a  fundraising platform designed to shape the future of the culinary industry in the  Lowcountry region by providing mentorship, resources, and growth opportunities.

Kelly Nix, Public Relations Coordinator for REV Federal Credit Union’s #UpTheGood Foundation, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Through REV’s commitment to community and the establishment of the #UpTheGood Foundation, I saw firsthand how aligning people’s passions and purpose creates powerful change. It was an honor and a joy to celebrate the Charleston Wine + Food Community Impact Awards and recognize the incredible work of the honorees in the culinary and hospitality community who lead with innovation and compassion every day. Their impact in the greater Charleston area extended far beyond the festival, enriching lives and strengthening our community.”

The alignment of Charleston Wine + Food’s mission with REV’s commitment to community growth and sustainability creates a meaningful collaboration. This initiative celebrates excellence in the culinary industry and fosters a supportive, inspiring environment that educates, enriches, and promotes the diversity of the Lowcountry’s culinary and hospitality community.

REV extends congratulations to this year’s Community Impact Award recipients: Gena Berry of Culinary Works, Amethyst Ganaway of Chef Amethyst Ganaway, Molly Gordon of Wando High School Culinary Arts, Pearce Fleming of Commonhouse Aleworks, and Ben’s Friends.
