"Given the size and complexity of the deal, having a clear line of sight into the process was important. It was a contrast to what we often see with traditional lenders, where it is not always obvious how decisions are being made or what is happening behind the scenes. Here, we had the information we needed and an understanding of where things stood and what needed to happen next."

Many of the lenders we approached told us the same thing. They said they would love to give us the loan and would love to do the deal, but the board would never approve it. That was usually based on perception, not fact. There were typically five or six layers before someone actually made a decision, and by the time it reached that point, they had no real understanding of the investment.

That is why working with REV stood out to us. We were talking to decision makers. Everything was transparent.

Everybody was open, explaining what was going on, and from a buyer’s and borrower’s perspective, that is tremendously helpful.
