This year’s Hops for Good release supports Canines for Service, a nonprofit dedicated to training highly skilled service dogs for veterans, children, and individuals living with disabilities. Every Paws & Patriots purchase helps provide greater independence, confidence, and hope for those whose lives are changed through the power of a service dog.

About Canines for Service

Canines for Service is a Wilmington-based nonprofit dedicated to helping Veterans with disabilities regain independence, confidence and connection through highly trained service dogs provided at no cost. Serving Veterans with needs related to mobility challenges, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and more, the organization also engages the southeastern North Carolina community through volunteers, foster families and therapy-dog programs. Since 1996, Canines for Service has placed more than 130 service dogs, creating lasting impact for Veterans and the communities that support them.

The inaugural Hops for Good collaboration brought the community together over great beer and an even greater purpose. Through the partnership with Mad Mole Brewing, supporters helped raise awareness and funding for local nonprofit work while proving that a simple idea—a locally brewed beer with a mission—could create lasting community impact.
