Through REV Cares, our Employee & Community Engagement Team actively works with local organization’s to support causes that create positive outcomes in the community.

Some of our most recent initiatives include:

  • April 2021: Teamed up with the Lowcountry Autism Foundation to help fund programming, advocacy and awareness for individuals with Autism and their families.

  • March 2021: Packed and delivered 300 specialty kits totaling over 700 lbs. of goodies for the Lowcountry Food Bank and its partner agencies.

  • February 2021: Team REV got hearts pumping as a Top 20 fundraising team for the Lowcountry Heart Walk.

  • December 2020: Adopted over 50 local children through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

  • November 2020: Donated “wish list” items to both the Fisher House and Veterans Victory House to help make families and residents more comfortable and entertained during their stay.

  • October 2020: Donated over 100 on-the-go meal kits to the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston to benefit families staying at the facility.

  • August 2020: Sponsored the Summerville Chamber of Commerce’s Teacher of the Year Virtual Breakfast honoring the top educators in Dorchester County’s public and private schools.

  • June 4 2020: Supported the Farm to Food Bank Movement by making a financial donation to local Hickory Bluff Berry Farm to aid their dedication to providing surplus fruits and vegetable to the Lowcountry Food Bank.

Autism Awareness

In celebration of Autism Awareness Month, REV’s selected non-profit for the month of April is Lowcountry Autism Foundation. LAF provides programming, advocacy and awareness for individuals with Autism and their families. Their programs help fill a gap in services and are provided to families free of charge.

REV Up the Good

At REV Day, REV’s inaugural all employee event held March 22, 2021, REV team members came together to create specialty kits for the Lowcountry Food Bank and its partner agencies. Employees packed 300 kits totaling over 700 lbs. of goodies delivered to the food bank as a way to #UpTheGood.

The ECE led REV team members through Heart Month with tips on spreading kindness and improving heart health. In collaboration with the American Heart Association’s 2021 Lowcountry Heart Walk, the ECE encouraged a little friendly competition between REV’s 11 branches.
