REV Federal Credit Union Expands into North Carolina
Since joining REV in 2019, President & CEO Jason Lee has propelled the organization to new heights. Transitioning to a new name, strategic vision, and mission, under Lee’s leadership, REV has once again achieved another milestone. The credit union received merger approval from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and members of North Carolina based Riegelwood Federal Credit Union and Hamlet Federal Credit Union, making REV a multi-state financial institution.

REV President & CEO, Jason Lee, was recently named to the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA) Board of Directors. CRDA is a professional economic development organization that serves as a catalyst for building long-term sustainable economic prosperity in the three-county Charleston region by attracting the world’s best companies, talent, and entrepreneurs.
REV Federal Credit Union Introduces new Chief Lending Officer
REV is excited to welcome Mel Valenzuela as its Chief Lending Officer (CLO)! With over 27 years of experience in financial services, Valenzuela’s expertise will compliment REV’s digital lending strategy. As CLO, Valenzuela will be leading REV’s credit and lending growth, and will oversee the credit union’s overall loan portfolio.
REV Federal Credit Union Announces New VP Marketing
REV Federal Credit Union is proud to welcome Shawn Kaup as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Kaup brings more than twenty years of Marketing and Management experience. He will be responsible for advancing the new REV brand, data analytics, business intelligence, internal culture, business development, marketing and training.
Safe Sounds at Firefly is supported by REV Federal Credit Union in partnership with Ear for Music. (And us!) Shows will begin at 7 p.m., with doors at 6 p.m.

Under the leadership of President Jason Lee, Heritage Trust recently unveiled its new identity as it transitions to REV Federal Credit Union. The new brand was introduced as part of a greater strategic vision to better position the credit union and elevate its commitment to employees, members and the community.
Jason Lee could see the question coming a mile away, like a train off in the distance. Why would he even attempt to change his company’s long-established corporate identity when the world is fixed on a viral pandemic and multi-trillion-dollar economic rescue plans.
